1381 Calories
Today I did pretty well. I ate 1699 calories, then burned 318 working out for a total of 1381!! For dinner I made a great Shrimp and Roasted vegetable dish. Thanks Skinny Girl for the recipe!!!! Pretty good for a Monday!

Day One-1438 Calories
I think I did pretty good for day one. The only thing I did not do is exercise.
However, I did clean the house all day which has got to count for something right? For dinner I made my hubby and I Bob Greene's Best Life Tortilla Soup recipe. It was yummy and VERY filling. I also planned our menu for the week. I found some great menu options thanks to many of the blogs on my blog roll. Last but not least, I bought a scale and entered my weight for the first time. Painful, but necessary. I hope everyone has a great Monday morning. As great as a Monday can be anyway.

Enough is enough!

So I know what your thinking. Not another weight loss blog! Well, yes this is another weight loss blog, but give it a chance. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and not been happy with what you saw? Then this blog might just be for you. These days there are so many things we have to do, people we have to see, places we have to go. This leaves little time for one of the most important things, taking care of your health. Now we all know that exercise and eating right plays a very important role in our health. So why is it so hard to make time for it? Well in my case I have let my job become the priority in my life. Before I knew it I had gained 40 lbs. As the title says, enough is enough! Starting today, my health is the priority and I have to make some changes. I have read so many health and fitness blogs that have inspired me to start my own. This blog will serve as my journal throught the ups and downs and weight loss. My hope is that maybe it can help or inspire someone that is in the same situation. Good luck to everyone out there that has or is planning on starting a program. Email me with your thoughts or tips.
